My second Disney Cruise trip

Only last year did I finally go back to the Disney Cruise. It has been so long since I went on the disney cruise that I couldn’t really remember much about it. But after all the funny business, the going through the lines and leaving the country stuff, we finally got on the ship, the Disney Dream, I think. We quickly went around and ate our food, I had chicken this time, because I was having an early life crisis and a large fear of choking at the time. Just like last time, we went to our rooms, and relaxed for a few minutes before we went around the ship.

Very soon, my parents found two kids clubs for us to go to. I remember the club, but not the name. It was very boring and we were forced to stay there for hours on end. There were some things to do, play video games, watch stupid new teen disney movies. But I just ended up watching videos on my phone. I had to stay there until about noon or a little later, I don’t really remember. Then we went back to our room, and stayed there until later on when my parents came back. We then rested, and then went around the ship some more.

We never got off the ship until we came to Castaway Cay. We got off the ship and went to the beach. Resting there for an hour or two. Then the ‘fun’ started. My father had signed me and himself up to go and ride jetski’s. It was not fun, it was very very bumpy. Just bouncing up and down, hanging on for dear life. We soon came to the nearby island and walked around in the water. Later, we had to ride back, still as bumpy and scary as ever. We got back, and I relaxed and was happy I didn’t fall into the ocean. We ate some food later, I had a cheeseburger and some soda. More relaxing on the beach.

We finally got back on the ship, and began our voyage home. We had to go wait on the ship for over a day until we got home. But today, if I remember correctly, we were aloud to relax and stay in our room. It was peaceful. We soon got back to mainland, and headed home. After that, I never really wanted to go back on the cruise. Just my own personal reasons, like not liking going into the middle of the ocean. But now it is over, and I don’t need to do it again.

My Disney Cruise trips

Disney is a large part of my family. We love disney movies, we just recently got disney plates and bowls, and we visit Disney World every year. But there is something even more special that we have only done twice, the Disney Cruise. We went on the cruise once in 2010 and once last year. The first time was special and exciting, it was back when I wasn’t bored with disney. We got on a large ship, by large I mean really big, and had lunch. I can remember that I had steak and rice, and some Coke Cola. Then we went to our rooms, and found our bags were there. They were brought there by the people who work there.

We went around the ship and looked at all the things to do. We mostly swam in the on-board pool, that was also back when I liked to swim. But soon, we had dinner, and I had steak. Our food was cut for us, which was great. Afterwards, we went back to our rooms and slept. For the next few days on the ship, we kept doing mostly the same thing, swimming, eating resting. On the third day, we got to leave the ship and go on land at Key West. We went around and bought some toys and things to take home. We got back on the ship, and got to cool off from the hot weather. More swimming, resting and eating. On the fourth day, we went to Atlantis. The resort and water park Atlantis, it was fun, and very hot. We walked around on the boiling ground without shoes, and it wasn’t fun.

On the next day, we finally got to our final destination, a private disney owned island, Castaway Cay. It is an island in the Bahamas that disney uses mostly for the cruises. Many people go on the island and relax in the hot hot sunny sun. On a beach and get to swim around in real ocean water. We get to eat at real restaurants on the island and get to do special activities. We didn’t really do any, unless I am remembering wrong. We might have gone swimming with stingrays, and I was not happy at all (I personally think this might have started my not liking and disagreeing of what to do on vacations). But we eventually just calmed down and relaxed. Soon we got back on the ship, and headed back to Florida. We got back to mainland in a little over a day and a half I think. We got our things and headed home. This is only my first trip on the cruise, which I don’t remember as much as the next one, which will come soon.

My trips to Disney

Throughout my life, I have gone across this country and back, but out of all the places I have gone, the most visited is Disney World. I go to Disney World at least twice a year, but it is starting to slow down. I have gone at least 30 times so far, over my 15 years of life. We go every year, and believe me, it does get boring. But some parts of the park are still fun, like my favorite rides in each of the four parks for example. For each park in Disney World, I have a favorite ride. In Magic Kingdom, I have Splash Mountain. In Epcot, I have Test Track. Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest. MGM, or Disney Hollywood Studios, I have Tower of Terror.

First, is Splash Mountain. Every time we go to Disney, we always go to Magic Kingdom first, so we go on this favorite ride first. When I was younger, I didn’t like this ride, or any of my now favorite rides, but now that I am older, I love it. The whole ride is fun, the singing animals, the water (PS. I like water), and the drops, everyones favorites. I hated this ride when I was younger because of the drop, now I love it for the same reason. I love the feeling of the wind blowing past my face, the feeling of falling and being almost weightless is amazing. It is why I love all these rides. And getting wet in the hot weather of Florida doesn’t hurt either.

Next is Test Track. Epcot is a must for my family. It is the only way we can say we went all around the world in one day. For those who don’t know, Epcot has a large area in the back of the park that has sections cut into small countries, Mexico, Japan, Morocco, Italy. But the main reason I love to go to Epcot is because of Test Track. It is like test driving a car, that drives itself. I love the ride because it goes at high speeds at the end, I love the wind in my face.

Expedition Everest. The ride based of a real mountain with a twist of cryptid. The ride is a fun ride through the Himalayans while being chased by the Yeti. You ride around in your express train to the top of the mountain, until you find out the track is broken, so your train goes back into the mountain. Into darkness, you do a backflip in the train (It’s in the dark, but you can tell), and when you stop, the shadow of the Yeti jumps on the track, and rips it off. You then plummet down the side of the mountain, until you come to the Yeti’s cave. It reaches out for you (Not anymore. The actual animatronic is broken, so they added a strobe effect to make you not notice), but you escape, the last thing you hear being the Yeti’s howl. It is a fun ride with the wind blowing past your face and the drops fell great too.

Finally, possibly my favorite ride in Disney World, Tower of Terror. The Hollywood Tower Hotel, or Tower of Terror, is a ride about going into a haunted hotel. You walk into the elevator, and it brings you to the top of the ride, through some strange sights, then down into the dark abyss. It brings you back up and back down multiple times, and feels great with the weightlessness and floating at the edge of your seatbelt. It was the scariest ride for me when I was younger, I don’t even remember why. But now it might be my favorite, or a close second to the Star Tours ride. Nowadays, I won’t leave Disney World without riding this ride once or twice. So I’m happy my family forced me onto the scariest thing to me at that age, which might have traumatized me. But I feel fine, and am happy about it.
